Apply For This PhD Scholarship (Enhancing Cybersecurity Using Machine Learning Technologies in Australia, 2017)

The University of Newcastle is offering PhD scholarship to study the use of machine learning technologies in enhancing cybersecurity. The successful applicant will study under the supervision of Dr Suhuai Luo.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing PhD programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to study the use of machine learning technologies in enhancing cybersecurity.

Scholarship Award: The scholarship meets the full tuition fees and overseas student health cover costs for a period of three years, as well as a relocation allowance of up to AU$1,520. It also provides a tax-free living allowance of AU$26,682 per annum (2017 rate, indexed annually).

Scholarship can be taken in the Australia

Eligibility:
An Honours Class One or equivalent qualification;
Good in programmings such as Matlab, Python, Java or C++;
Research experience in machine learning and/or cyber security;

Nationality: This scholarship is available to International and Australian candidates.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have master degree or equivalent qualification.

English Language Requirement: IELTS minimum of 6.5 overall with no band less than 6 (for international candidates)
